Tamarind Translations has been selected as the official language services provider at the 1st Sustainable Blue Economy Conference, 26th – 28th November 2018, in Nairobi, Kenya. We will be providing English – French translations and interpretation during the three day international conference.
The conference is hosted by the Kenyan government and partners, together with co-hosts Canada and Japan, inviting the world to Nairobi for the first global conference on the sustainable blue economy. The event to be held at the Kenyatta International Conference Center, Nairobi, will be one of the biggest ever held on Kenyan soil with over 11,000 delegates registered from around the world meeting to learn how to build a blue economy that
- Harnesses the potential of our oceans, seas, lakes and rivers to improve the lives of all, particularly people in developing states, with emphasis on women, youth and indigenous peoples
- Leverages the latest innovations, scientific advances and best practices to build prosperity while conserving our waters for future generations
Kenya’s President, Uhuru Kenyatta and Canadian Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau are expected to attend the event and together with other world leaders capture concrete commitments and practical actions that can be taken to help the world transition to the blue economy.
